Preface
There are many texts in which we can find techniques of various anorectal procedures. The interested surgeon can easily find descriptions and illustrations of each surgical technique. However, what is more difficult to find is the prevention and treatment of many complications following anorectal operations. Complications of surgical procedures are without a doubt the greatest source of disquiet for every surgeon. We never feel more alone when one of our patients has suffered a complication that has caused them suffering and never more comforted when we find that our mates have experience with the same complication.
