This volume constitutes the proceedings of the 2005 Advanced Research Working Conference on Correct Hardware-like Design and Verification Methods. CHARME 2005 was held at the Victor’s Residenz-Hotel, Saarbr¨ucken, Germany, 3–6 October 2005. CHARME 2005 was the thirteenth in a series of working conferences devoted to the development and the use of leading-edge formal techniques and tools for the specification, design and verification of hardware and hardware-like systems.
