Receiving word of Professor Bukulmez’s manuscript brings to mind the natural convergence of the streams of translational research. As social and economic issues have changed our reproductive habits, along comes in vitro fertilization (IVF) and the imperative to comprehend, diagnose, and contend with ovarian aging. The success of cancer therapy further sharpens the lens of planning for the survivor’s reproductive future.
