The p r e s e n t c o m m u n i c a t i o n r e p o r t s the t e n s i l e p r o p e r t i e s for s a m p l e s given a s i m i l a r b r o a d r a n g e of p r e t r e a t m e n t s at both a m b i e n t and e l e v a t e d t e m p e r a t u r e s and c o r r e l a t e s t h e s e r e s u l t s with the m i c r o s t r u c t u r a l d a t a of p a r t I. P r e v i o u s i n v e s t i g a t i o n s of t e n s i l e p r o p e r t y d a t a f o r type 316 s t a i n l e s s s t e e l have not c o v e r e d the b r o a d r a n g e of p r e t r e a t m e n t s r e p o r t e d h e r e and often have not b e e n c a r e f u l l y c o r r e l a t e d with m i c r o s t r u c t u r e .
