In recent years there have been significant advances in the understanding and treatment of disorders of the hand and wrist. This has resulted in a significant improvement in the quality of life for many patients. The authors who have produced this text were chosen as they are hand surgeons who have led many of these exciting developments in the management of both elective and trauma hand surgery. All are internationally respected. The topics covered are well illustrated with images, radiographs and line drawings and provide practical guidance on surgical procedures.
