Preface

Aim of the Book In the past 200 years of scientific history, research on various topics on dynamic systems has led to tremendous advances. We often get asked the question, “What kind of dynamic systems are most interesting from a control engineering point of view with long scientific history?”. We believe that there are many scholars, who answer this question as “Time-Delay Systems”. The reason for the answer is simply that, because this topic is one of the hottest research areas in control engineering ever as the system has complex and special dynamic characteristics. With this motivation above, the authors have argued the need to write a new book that will introduce readers to the latest research trends and techniques on the stability and control problems of dynamic systems with time delays. It should be noted that the com
