Acknowledgments This book is dedicated to all my teachers, and our orange cat César (2002– 2020). There are a bunch of people to thank for helping me be a better teacher. I took courses from some wonderful instructors, in high school, college, and graduate school. In college, Professors Angelo J. Perna, R.P. Thompkins, and Trevor Tyson were major influences.
