Erratum to: Arab J Geosci (2016) 9:740 DOI 10.1007/s12517-016-2764-4 A few minor but serious errors occurred in the published article. Please note that throughout the text the symbol σ ^ n was erroneously replaced by σn. Also note at some places, the standard deviation symbol should be s (and not S). More importantly, the headings of Table 2 were misplaced. The correct headings should read as follows:
