Preface This conference volume entitled Extended Education from an International Comparative Point of View is a synthesis paper of the work of the International Research Network Extended Education of the World Education Research Association (WERA-IRN Extended Education). It presents and integrates the state of research knowledge worldwide and sets forth promising research directions in the field of Extended Education.
