The Ge-V phase diagram in [Massalski2] was redrawn from [1989Smi]. Figure 1 shows the Ge-V phase diagram calculated by [2008Wan] based on essentially the same data set as [1989Smi]. Accordingly, the diagrams of [1989Smi] and [2008Wan] are similar, but the diagram of [2008Wan] is naturally more thermodynamically consistent.
