Preface My fondest memory was sitting at my father’s knees as he designed mechanical puzzles in the small craft shop at home. Apart from a creative mind, he also had dexterous hands. Many of his puzzles were marketed, but I had the special privilege of playing with a huge number of puzzles he was developing but did not eventually release. My father was thinking of puzzles every day. He always carried a notepad to jot down inspirations of the moment.
