Imipramine Somnolence in a child: case report A boy initially presented with diurnal and nocturnal enuresis at age 7 years; after 3 years of therapy, he was referred to a psychiatrist and prescribed oral imipramine 25mg/night for Hinman’s syndrome [age not clearly stated]. After 1 month, his condition improved, and his dose was subsequently increased to 50mg; however, somnolence ensued, which necessitated dose reduction back to 25mg [duration of treatment to reaction onset and outcome not stated].
