North Carolina Section Hosts Workshop on Plasma-Surface Interaction and Processing of Materials The North Carolina Section of the Materials Research Society hosted a fourth workshop on advanced materials processing titled "Plasma-Surface Interaction and Processing of Materials." Organized by O. Auciello and H. Conrad, the workshop was held on April 14,1987 at the Microelectronics Center of North Carolina (MCNC), Research Triangle Park, NC. The workshop was attended by about 30 persons from the area who showed considerable interest and enthusiasm in the subject and discussions. The program and invited speakers were as follows:
