This volume contains the Proceedings of the Conference on Measure Theory, held at the Mathematical Research Institute at Oberwolfach from June 26 till July 2, 1983. In this meeting, 51 mathematicians from 18 countries participated; 41 papers were presented, and two problem sessions were held. The organizers would like to thank the participants for their contributions, the director of the Oberwolfach Institute, Professor Barner, and his staff for their support, and Springer-Verlag for its co-operation in publishing these proceedings.
