Aspiration: case report In a retrospective, comparative study of 35 patients admitted with severe novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) and received non-invasive ventilation between 23 January 2020 and 15 February 2020 at a hospital in China, a patient [age and sex not stated] was described, who developed side-effect of aspiration during 24 hours of sedative treatment with midazolam, which was injected at a loading dose of 0.05 mg/kg for 2 minutes, followed by maintenance dose [maintenance dose, route, time to reaction onset and outcome of ADR not stated].
