This volume contains revised versions of the papers presented at the 16th European Conference on Multi-Agent Systems (EUMAS 2018), which was held at the University of Bergen in Norway, during December 6–7, 2018. There were 34 submissions. Each submission was reviewed by three Program Committee members. The committee decided to accept 18 papers.
