This book is based in part on my doctoral thesis Scottish Space Sector and Innovation: A PERIpatetic study of an emerging innovation system and the roles of innovation intermediaries (Vidmar 2019a). In addition, some of the core premises of this monograph were presented as part of DRUID 2018 conference in Copenhagen (June 2018). Some of the material was also presented and separately published in two journal articles: the landscape mapping and typology of intermediaries roles were part of Proceedings of the 70th International Astronautical Congress in Washington (October 2019) and published in Acta Astronautica (Vidmar 2021); and the comparative cases of Higgs Centre for Innovation and Space-SI were presented at the smartEIZ conference in Zagreb (October 2018) and published in Croatian Economic Survey (Vidmar 2019b). None of this work would be possible without the support and guidance of my doctoral supervisors at th
