Various toxicities: case report In a case series of 3 patients, a 2-year-old girl was described, who developed fulminant liver failure due to paracetamol toxicity followed by hyperammonemic encephalopathy and coma with posturing during treatment with paracetamol* . The girl had been receiving paracetamol [acetaminophen; indication, dosage and route not stated]. Subsequently, she developed fulminant liver failure due to paracetamol toxicity [duration of treatment to reaction onset not stated] and presented in coma with posturing. Laboratory tests revealed severe synthetic liver dysfunction with hyperammonemia up to 200 µmol/L. EEG showed periods of diffuse polymorphic δ/ with overriding central 14Hz spindle-like waveforms alternating with periods of background suppression
