The stability fields of the NdCeCuO (NCCO) films and the Ceo.jNdo.s01,75 (CNO) phase grown by laser ablation from the stoichiometric targets, Ndl,8jCeo.15C~04-~, are demonstrated, respectively. The superconducting NCCO films were grown in a specific field below and close to the CuO/Cu20 transition line, i.e., at 700-725°C in 20-50 mTorr, without vacuum annealing.
