Pharmacogenetics Working Party Report Noel Snell
This issue of the Journal is predominantly devoted to the publication of the outputs from The Society of Pharmaceutical Medicine’s Working Party on Pharmacogenetics. This Working Party, convened by Dr Martin Lunnon and ably chaired by Professor Steven Holgate, has met regularly since January last year and has produced a series of papers which should be of the greatest interest and value to readers of the Journal and workers in the pharmaceutical industry in general,
concentrating as they do on one of the most interesting and rapidly-advancing new frontiers in our discipline. The Working Party papers are supplemented by two commissioned commentaries, from Professors Tony Dayan and Roland Wolf, which set the report in its broader perspective. The members of the Working Party are to be congratulated on their hard work and perseverance in producing this valuable set of reference documents.
