European Powder Metallurgy Association Launches REACH Website Area The newly launched REACH Area, located on the existing EPMA website (www.epma.com/REACH) has been developed as an informational hub on the recently imposed REACH Legislation. The REACH website area provides a compact yet concise synopsis of the REACH legislation, a downloadable PDF brochure—‘‘Introduction to REACH,’’ as well as a presentation, previously given at the EPMA’s Annual General Meeting earlier this year. ‘‘The main aim of the REACH area has been devised to assist EPMA Members in the initial stages of the new legislation,’’ explained Olivier Coube, Technical Director of EPMA. ‘‘As part of the EPMA’s commitment to the Powder Metallurgy Industry on REACH, the REACH area will be kept up-to-date, to ensure that we are providing a useful hub of information and industry relevant links for the PM industry on this new and growing legislation.’’ EPMA members will also benefit from the website content as they have access to ‘‘Letter to Suppliers’’ examples, a Frequently Asked Questions section, and current EPMA-run REACH workshop files and presentations. Members also have the option to register for the REACH Newsflashes to be sent directly to their inboxes.
