No therapeutic response: case report A 21-month-old girl exhibited no therapeutic response with atropine while being treated for bradycardia. The girl was admitted at hospital in Syria with fever, pallor and vomiting. Subsequently, based on various investigations and clinical presentation, she was diagnosed with atypical haemolytic uremic syndrome with peripheral gangrene and homocysteinaemia. Later, she suddenly developed bradycardia. Therefore, she was administered treatment with atropine [dosage and route not stated]. However, she had not responded to atropine administration, and developed cardiac arrest. Additionally, she was receiving treatment with various concomitant medications including blood transfusion.
