Despite the ever-increasing government authoritarianism and oppression, the democratic struggle in Turkey is very much alive. Every day thousands of people in Turkey including women, students, union workers, socialists, LBGTQ activists, Kurdish liberation movement activists, and Alevis hold meetings, organize panels and rallies, and take courageous steps as part of their democracy struggle.
