Preface
Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) wireless transmission technology has opened a new era of space resource development and utilization in mobile communication system. Theoretically, it expands the research scope of traditional Shannon information theory from the scalar to the vector channel, which allows system design to overcome the limitation of the “time-frequency” two-dimensional resources and transit into a new way of development and utilization of the “space-time-frequency” three-dimensional resources. Moreover, researchers can use the new degrees of freedom to further expand new theories and methods of mobile communication, especially the multiuser MIMO wireless communication method based on the space-time-frequency three-dimensional resources.
