Fatal cardiac failure: case report In a retrospective study of 89 patients treated between December 2015 to May 2019, a patient [age and sex not stated] was described, who developed cardiac failure and died during treatment with carfilzomib for multiple myeloma (MM). The patient, who was diagnosed with MM, started receiving carfilzomib [dosage and route not stated]. However, therapy course of carfilzomib was complicated by cardiac failure. Eventually, the patient died due to cardiac failure [time to reaction onset not stated] and progression of underlying MM. Chavda SJ, et al.
