Cefazolin/ornidazole Toxic hepatitis: 2 case reports

In a retrospective study of 111 patients conducted between 2001 and 2019, a 25-year-old woman and a 28-year-old woman * were described, who developed toxic hepatitis during treatment with cefazolin (1 woman) and ornidazole (1 woman) [routes, dosages, indications and duration of treatments to reaction onsets not stated]. Cefazolin and ornidazole were stopped, after which hepatic transaminases returned to normal limits in both women. * Identifying patients details (ages and sexes) have been obtained through direct communication with author.
