Panniculitis and vitiligo-like dermatitis: 2 case reports In a retrospective study of 52 patients conducted at the University of Brescia at Spedali Civili in Brescia Italy, from February 2015–September 2018, 2 patients (1 man and 1 woman) [ages not stated] were described who developed panniculitis and vitiligo-like dermatitis following treatment with dabrafenib and trametinib for BRAF V600 mutated metastatic melanoma. Both the patients were diagnosed with BRAF V600 mutated metastatic melanoma and received treatment with dabrafenib 150mg twice a day and trametinib 2 mg/day [routes not stated]. Later, the man was diagnosed with panniculitis on his leg and the woman developed atypical and patchy macules initially on her trunk and later she was diagnosed with vitiligo-like dermatitis on her legs [duration of treatment to reaction onset not stated]. Both the patients were treated with unspecified non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and unspecified steroids, which led to resolution of the symptoms. Consoli F, et al.
