Treatment ineffectiveness: case report In a case series, a 42-year-old woman exhibited treatment ineffectiveness, while being treated with immune-globulin for distal acquired demylinating symmetric neuropathy. The woman with hyperIgEaemia was diagnosed with distal acquired demylinating symmetric neuropathy. Subsequently, she received 1 cycle of IV immune-globulin 0.5 mg/kg/day for 5 days.
