This book is the outcome the 19th International Conference on Information Systems Development (ISD 2010), hosted by the faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague during 25–27 August 2010. The ISD conference evolved from the first Polish-Scandinavian Seminar on Current Trends in Information Systems Development Methodologies held in Poland in 1988. It was a great honor for us to organize the nineteenth within this series of conferences. The development of information systems is still one of main theoretical and practical disciplines usable in all areas of society, including government, industry, science, community, and in the home.
