Kinesthetic Spectatorship in the Theatre is a study of movement and movement perception in theatrical performance. Aligning itself with scholarship on kinesthetic empathy in dance studies, it explores the ways in which we inhabit the movements of others inside and outside the theatre, and the ways these movements inhabit us.
