The mucocutaneous manifestations of systemic diseases are important to recognize and treat, and this is particularly true when such manifestations complicate a disease as complex as human immunodeficiency disease (HIV). In this edited volume, a distinguished group of clinicians and investigators provide a broad overview of the mucocutaneous manifestations of HIV, including common and rare dermatoses. In some cases, the chapters emphasize common viral and bacterial infections which may include more aggressive or unique presentations in patients with untreated or poorly treated HIV disease.
