Prednisolone Bilateral avascular necrosis of femoral head: case report
A 38-year-old man developed bilateral femoral head avascular necrosis while receiving prednisolone for panhypopituitarism. The man started receiving replacement doses of oral prednisolone for panhypopituitarism. Subsequently, he developed bilateral femoral head avascular necrosis, which was significantly improved after treatment with immobilization, zoledronic acid and core decompression surgery of bilateral femoral head [dosage and duration of treatment to reaction onset not stated].
