Deep vein thrombosis, seizures and miscarriage: 3 case reports In a retrospective study, which was carried out to evaluate adverse events following immunisation (AEFI) with quadrivalent human papillomavirus vaccine during March 2014–December 2016 (reported at Sao Paulo state, Brazil), three women [ages not stated] were described, of whom one woman developed upper-extremity deep vein thrombosis; another woman, who had a history of epilepsy, developed seizures with cerebral oedema; and third woman had miscarriage after receiving quadrivalent human papillomavirus vaccine [routes, dosages and times to reactions onset not stated]. All women were hospitalised due to occurrence the AEFI. The adverse events resolved completely within a week of occurrence, without sequelae.
