In the last 15 years, we witnessed a rapid surge in interest in applying ultrasound- guided pain intervention. Before 2003, the interest in ultrasound-guided pain intervention was mostly restricted to musculoskeletal system. Since then, many new techniques in ultrasound-guided pain intervention were developed in various peripheral and axial structures among pain specialists.
