Male breast cancer: case report Five weeks after starting treatment with testosterone [Testogel] 5 g/day for primary hypogonadism, a 61-year old man discovered a 2cm lump in his right breast. Ultrasonography indicated a malignant mass, which was confirmed by core biopsy. Testosterone was stopped and he underwent right mastectomy with auxiliary node clearance. Histopathological examination showed an invasive, estrogen receptor-positive carcinoma. He was treated with tamoxifen postoperatively. Thomas SR, et al.
