Acknowledgments
This book is based on my doctoral study which commenced at the Ph.D. Programme in Financial Systems, Risk Management and Regulation, in Università Degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi during the period of 2011–2014. In that period, I have been greatly supervised by Professor Paolo Savona and assisted by Professor Chiara Oldani in guiding my book on all aspects. I am indebted to Professor Paolo Savona. He is a prestigious economist in Italy and worldwide, insightful and rich experienced both in academic research and in policy-making field. Among his research, the most significant one is attributed to the first econometric model of Italian economy, the first analyses on the international monetary base and Eurodollar, and on the macroeconomic effects of derivatives contracts, which have all anticipated in a systematic way the happening of the dramatic events experienced by the Italian and international economy in the last forty years
