Information literacy is an ability to use information technology, to acquire information, to evaluate information, and to use the knowledge gained in a person’s study, work, and everyday life. An information literate person not only knows where to acquire information but also how to evaluate and use information effectively and creatively. Nowadays, more and more jobs are related to information technology and its application. Information literacy has become indispensable in life and career development. Teachers or students, managers or staff, all need these skills to succeed and thrive in modern society.
