Professor Konstantinos Oustapassidis Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece
KONSTANTINOS OUSTAPASSIDIS 1951–2001 Konstantinos Oustapassidis was born in Alonia, Pierias, a small town in Northern Greece. Son of immigrants from the Black Sea, he grew up speaking the “pontiaki” dialect and being very proud of his heritage. He went to high school in nearby Katerini and then to Thessaloniki. He received his B.Sc. degree in agriculture from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), in 1974. After completing his military service, he got his first job at ELVIZ, a Greek Feedstuff Firm, and attended the Graduate Business School of Thessaloniki where he received his second degree in 1979.
