WHO launches Pharmacovigilance Toolkit A web-based pharmacovigilance toolkit accessible worldwide has been launched by WHO, with the aim of helping all countries to improve drug safety monitoring. The Pharmacovigilance Toolkit encompasses all WHO pharmacovigilance publications, and (with permission) resources and information on pharmacovigilance from other organisations. It comprises a package of tools and a description of the supporting processes required for effective pharmacovigilance. WHO says the main objective of the toolkit is to ensure that pharmacovigilance practitioners in low- and middleincome countries have access to the best information on the activities and processes involved in this issue "from a trusted source".
