Dear Reader, As we reach the final issue of the year for CNS Drugs, we hope that you have found the articles published throughout 2009 to be both interesting and informative. The publishing staff has appreciated the high quality of content contributed to the journal this year, and we look forward to keeping you up-to-date with topical issues in the drug treatment of neurological and psychiatric disorders in 2010. This year saw the 15th birthday of CNS Drugs. The journal was launched in January 1994; since then over 1400 articles have been published in regular issues, special issues and supplements. Several of our other titles also celebrated major milestones in 2009: Sports Medicine (25), Clinical Drug Investigation (20), BioDrugs (15) and Pediatric Drugs (10). In 2010, the American Journal of Clinical Dermatology will celebrate its 10-year anniversary, and in 2011 many more of our titles have major anniversaries. The release of the latest ISI impact factors (for 2008) again reinforced the high profile of CNS Drugs. The journal now has an impact factor of 3.78, and is placed 22nd in the clinical neurology category and 26th in the psychiatry category. The high quality of a number of our other titles was further recognized in the new impact factors. The impact factor of Clinical Drug Investigation increased to 1.3 (an increase of over 100%), Molecular Diagnosis and Therapy increased to 2.14 (an increase of 54%), Drugs increased to 4.13 and PharmacoEconomics increased to 2.8. Clinical Pharmacokinetics also registered an increase in its impact factor. We were delighted this year to launch our new interactive online platform, AdisOnline, which we hope will help you navigate our content. The platform includes many new features (such as access to featured articles and collections, and the ability to see the most viewed and e-mailed articles across all titles) and provides many personalization features. The platform also allows exporting of figures to PowerPoint. Last, but not the least, we would like to say a big thank you to all the authors who have contributed articles to CNS Drugs in the last 12 months. Without their hard work and diligence we would not have been able to publish the journal. The quality of published articles also reflects the significant time and effort dedicated by the peer reviewers who ensure that we continue to publish content of the highest possible standard. In addition to the members of our Honorary Editorial Board, we would like to thank the following individuals who acted as referees for articles published in CNS Drugs in 2009: Dimitrios Adamis, Greece Giovanni Addolorato, Italy Bryon Adinoff, USA David Adson, USA Steven M. Albert, USA
