Most of the chapters in this book are based on journal and conference papers which have been published in the past, or either submitted or in preparation. The covered material is mainly based on published works that are well cited in the literature. Some sections of the various papers have been removed to avoid repetition. Part I of this book consists of Chaps. 1–2 which cover the introduction and the literature review.
