focused on modulation of the endogenous cannabinoid system to ameliorate central nervous system injury by limiting inflammation. His present research interests examine inflammation in gastrointestinal diseases and the effect of the endogenous cannabinoid system in regulating this inflammation. He very much enjoys teaching and educating medical students and residents. Additionally, he is very interested in prehospital care and has lectured on EMS care of gastrointestinal emergencies. He hopes to continue both teaching and research upon completing fellowship.
Zachary Wilmer Reichenbach, M.D., Ph.D., is a third-year gastroenterology and hepatology fellow at Temple University Hospital. He completed internal medicine training at Temple University Hospital as well as both his M.D. and Ph.D. at Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine.
