Nonconvulsive status epilepticus: 3 case reports In a case report, three patients (two women and one man) aged 60–82 years were described, who developed non-convulsive status epilepticus during antibiotic therapy with cefepime in Greece [duration of treatment to reaction onset not stated]. All the patients started receiving cefepime [route and doses not stated]. However, the patients were admitted due to acute impairment in the level of consciousness. Electroencephalogram findings were consistent with non-convulsive status epilepticus [duration of treatment to reaction onset not stated]. An improvement was seen after cessation of cefepime therapy.
