Neutropenia in an elderly patient: case report An 84-year-old man with acute coronary syndrome developed neutropenia while receiving clopidogrel. The man was referred for outpatient IV antibacterial therapy for cellulitis of his right forearm. Two weeks earlier, he had been admitted with acute coronary syndrome and atrial fibrillation.
