Books concerning regional approaches to dermatological diseases always create great enthusiasm among physicians, and can be very useful resources for dermatologists. Lesions on the nose and ears are commonly observed in daily clinical practice. Thanks to their prominent location, they are noticed earlier by the patients; therefore, patients very frequently seek earlier medical attention. Diseases with different pathogenesis may occur in these regions and they sometimes require a multidisciplinary approach. Based upon these facts, I thought that a book specific to dermatological diseases of the nose and ears would be useful in the daily practice of different specialists. The story of this book started approximately 10 years ago, with my special interest in patients with pemphigus vulgaris localized to the nose. I then started to gather clinical material about the dermatological diseases of the nose. As some diseases of the external ear also have common features with the diseases of the nose, I also collected material about the dermatological diseases of the ear. In the end I decided to share my experience with my colleagues through a book. Therea
