Erlotinib Acute generalised exanthematous pustulosis: case report Six weeks after starting treatment with erlotinib [dosage not stated] for metastatic lung cancer, a 59-year-old woman developed a widespread pustular, purpuric eruption mainly on her legs and buttocks. A skin biopsy revealed intra-epidermal and intrafollicular neutrophilic pustulation, and a florid and acute dermal inflammation. These findings were consistent with acute generalised exanthematous pustulosis. Because of her good response to erlotinib therapy, this medication was continued and her skin eruption was treated with emollients. [Patient outcome not stated.] Walther JC, et al.
