Erlotinib Trichomegaly, alopecia and male-pattern hair growth: case report A 62-year-old woman was diagnosed with stage IIIB adenocarcinoma of the lung. She started receiving erlotinib 150mg daily [route not stated]. She developed a grade II papulopustular rash during week 2 of treatment which resolved with antibiotics. After week 6 of treatment, she developed frontal alopecia, trichomegaly and male pattern terminal hair growth on her face, arms, hands and chest. She dealt with the symptoms cosmetically. Her prolactin level was mildly elevated. She tolerates erlotinib therapy well despite the hair alterations. Forde P, et al.
