The Euro PM2007 Congress & Exhibition, produced by the European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA), will be held Toulouse on October 15–17, 2007. Over 60 exhibiting companies will be onhand, representing the PM industry from powder makers through to equipment manufacturers and suppliers. The international congress will focus on dimensional control for high-density ferrous PM, designing for metal injection moulding, and hard materials for ad vanced applications. The program in-

cludes a workshop on REACH regulation that came into law recently in the member states of the European Union. REACH requires manufacturers and importers of chemical substances to demonstrate their products safety down the complete supply chain. The Workshop intends to present the latest updates of REACH implementation and the impact of REACH for the PM industry. Toulouse is considered to be the center of the European Aerospace Industry, boasting the headquarters of Airbus,
Galileo positioning system, SPOT satellite system, and CNES’s Toulouse Space Center. EPMA has arranged four tours around the Airbus production facility for delegates. The Airbus tours will start on the Wednesday afternoon, October 17, and will finish with transportation to the Toulouse Blagnac Airport.
