Some weeks before his death in 2018, Kofi Annan, former United Nations Secretary General, gave a talk in Zurich. He explained that he was once given 6 weeks to reorganize the United Nations. He complained to Sergey Lavrov, then Representative of the Soviet Union, that this was a mission impossible for a young leader such as himself. Lavrov smiled and explained, “Well, God reorganized the whole world in just 6 days,” to which Annan remembered to have replied, “Mr. Lavrov, don’t forget, He was working alone!” Is there anything that has not been tried to understand, explain, teach, and train leadership to grasp this concept like Newton grasped the movement of the planets?
