Will  Baker is the Deputy Director of the Centre for Global Englishes, Modern Languages, University of Southampton. He is the convener of the ‘MA in Global Englishes’ and ‘MA ELT: online’, and also supervises doctoral students in these subjects. He is the co-editor of the book series Developments in English as a Lingua Franca (De Gruyter Mouton). His current research involves English as a Lingua Franca, Intercultural Communication, English medium instruction and English language teaching. He has published and presented internationally in all these areas, including the recent monograph, Culture and Identity through English as a Lingua Franca (De Gruyter Mouton). Yasemin  Bayyurt, Ph.D. is a full professor of applied linguistics at Boğaziçi University, Turkey. Her research focuses on EIL/ELF-aware ESOL teacher education, intercultural communication, mobile language learning. Her publications include articles in international refereed/indexed journals, book chapters, and edited books, including Research Perspectives on Teaching and Learning English in Turkey: Policies and Practices, published in 2012 by Peter Lang.
